Do you deliver, set-up, dismantle and collect the equipment?

Yes, for insurance purposes and to ensure the equipment is set up safely and correctly, the equipment will be set up by a trained uniformed member of our team. For these reasons the equipment cannot be collected and set up by you the hirer nor should equipment be moved after our initial set up.

What time will you arrive and collect?

All garden deliveries are made between 8-10.30am and collections are between 4.30-7pm unless otherwise stated by you the customer. We cannot confirm timings when you book as we will need to arrange our deliveries geographically nearer to the date of hire, however we can give you an approximate time 5 day’s prior to your booking. If you have a hall hired for a set period we will arrange our bookings around you, however we do ask for a minimum of 30 minutes either side of the party start and finish times to provide us with some flexibility. Please note 1-2-3 Bounce Ltd cannot accept responsibility if unforeseen circumstances happen, such as: traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions etc.

My garden party starts at 9am and doesn't finish until 5.30pm, what do I do as your deliveries are between 8-10.30am and collections are between 4.30-7pm?

If you wish to guarantee either first delivery or last collection there is an additional charge of £15 for one option of £25 for both options, we will need to be notified of this at the time of your booking and not a few days prior as these are limited.

Can I hire the equipment after 7pm?

Yes, however we do not collect after 7pm, you can hire the inflatable over night for collection the following morning for £30, the location must be secure and we must be notified at time of booking if you would like to hire after overnight.

Can I hire the equipment overnight?

Yes, we offer overnight hire on inflatables providing the location is secure. There is an additional charge of £30 for this service and the inflatable will be collected between 8-10.30am the following morning. please notify us at time of booking if you wish to hire the equipment overnight.

Do you hire outside all year round?
No outdoor booking stop from October - February, this is because of the weather, muddy fields/gardens resulting in the ground stakes not being secure and with the temperatures being much colder resulting in the inflatables becoming wet/damp and not having the warmer weather to dry them back out again which has a knock on affect with hall bookings.

Is it cheaper if I only hire the equipment for a few hours?

No the price remains the same regardless of how many hours you hire the equipment. This is because we still have to travel to/from the location and the same amount of work is still required by us, when we deliver, set up and collect.

Can I have a face painter at the event/party?

Face paints are permitted on our inflatables, however we have experienced some incidences where our equipment has been permanently stained. Due to this we are now only working with the following recommended face painters, they have agreed to support us with our policy. You as the hirer are responsible for checking the inflatable every 10/15 minutes and wiping any face paint off, this will prevent permanent staining to our equipment. What happened if the weather is poor?

Unfortunately we cannot control the weather and sometimes we have to cancel for safety reasons.
If the forecast is 40% rain or above or if wind speeds/gusts exceed 24mph your booking will be cancelled. There will be no charge to you the customer. We make no decisions with the weather until the day before your booking of hire and we use the Met Office to guide us - the reason we have to make this decision the day before and not on the day is because the vans all need to be loaded and distributed to our staff members and also this will give you the customer enough time to make alternative plans for your event/party.

How do I know if I am within your delivery area?

We deliver upto 30 minutes from our home address (Carterton), anything over this there will be additional charge of upto £15 (subject to location) If your unsure please get in touch with us and we can confirm if we deliver to the area in question.

Do I need to provide anything?

Only access to a power supply. Our trained and uniformed team will bring all necessary equipment with them. This will include the equipment that you have hired, safety mats, extension cables and the electrical blower. Our extension leads are 50m and 25m long, please let us if the inflatable will be further away from an electricity supply than this as you would need to hire one of our petrol blowers instead.

Do the electric blowers use a lot of electricity?

No, despite the size and volume of the blower it only costs approximately 16p an hour to run.

What if I don't have a power supply?

We have petrol blowers available to hire for an additional £45 (subject to availability) and this will include enough petrol for the duration of your party.

What sort of surface do you need for the inflatables?

All inflatables for outdoor hire are to be erected on 'real' grass so that they can be staked down, we do not hire inflatables on artificial grass as they cannot be staked down securely.
We do not hire on tarmac, concrete or any other hard surface.
Inflatables can't go on any slope in any direction of 5 degrees or over.

How safe are your castles?

As required, all our castles are tested annually by Nicola a fully qualified PIPA (Professional Inflatable Play Association) inspector, ensuring that they meet the current BS/EN14960-2019 standard and are also checked for damage after every hire by ourselves.
In addition to this all our electrical equipment such as blowers, extension cables, speakers and lights are PAT tested yearly, again a legal requirement.
Copies of certificates for PIPA and PAT tests are available upon request.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have Public Liability insurance to £10,00,000, however we cannot be held liable for any injuries caused whilst the inflatable is on hire to you. You the hirer are responsible for supervision. Our Public Liability covers us against set up faults or faulty equipment.

Unless we are personally supervising equipment, such as equipment requiring our staff to stay to supervise and operate, you are the sole person responsible for the inflatable and it's users and therefore should anything happen, you are liable to a claim.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

We require a deposit of £50 to secure the Wedding Carousel bouncy castle and our toxic obstacle course, this deposit will only be refunded if the weather is poor resulting in us cancelling, if you the hirer decide to cancel for any reason the deposit will not be refunded.
You do not need to pay a deposit on any of our other inflatables/equipment, however we ask that you make your payment no later than two days prior to your booking (if paying via bank transfer), failure to do so may result in your hire equipment being cancelled.
